Medicine Data Blockchain

I am a medical student, researcher, data analyst, and SDG5 advocate exploring how medicine, data, and emerging technology can solve problems that matter.

My work sits at the intersection of healthcare, research, data, and blockchain — using evidence, technology, and systems thinking to understand complex problems and build better solutions.

Medicine taught me very early that good healthcare depends on more than what happens in front of a patient. Sometimes, the problem is the information that never gets there — the history that is missing, the data that is scattered, or the systems that were never designed to connect. The more I noticed these gaps, the more I became interested in what happens behind the clinical picture.

That curiosity is what pulled me beyond medicine. I did not leave medicine; I started asking bigger questions about it. I wanted to understand how data, technology, research and better systems could solve some of the problems I was seeing. That led me into blockchain, data analysis and healthcare research — different fields, but all connected by the same question: how do we build systems that work better for people?

Medicine trained me to think about improving people and systems. Data taught me how to find patterns within the complexity of people and systems. Research taught me to question assumptions and look for evidence that aligns. Blockchain exposed me to the inevitable wave of the Web 3.0 internet, and to the socially impactful possibilities coming with its innovations.

Today, I bring these perspectives together to understand problems and enact solutions that sit beyond the boundaries of any one discipline.

The subject changes. The questions do not.

Whether I am studying a patient, analysing a blockchain ecosystem, conducting research, or thinking about a social problem, I am interested in the same fundamental things:

What is happening?

Why is it happening?

Who is affected?

And what can we do differently?

These questions shape the work I build, the research I pursue, and the problems I choose to explore.

Medicine & Global Health

Most people who are oppressed do not know they are oppressed. That is what pulled me toward the SDGs, toward gender equality, and toward obstetrics and gynaecology — a field where women's health remains badly under-researched. Final-year MBBS training, and Millennium Fellow and Campus Director for the Class of 2025 — leading Her Path to Power.

Blockchain in Healthcare

If African healthcare will experience exponential growth, it is going to be through blockchain technology. I research and write about what that actually looks like — starting with the records problem, and a systematic review of blockchain-based electronic health records in African healthcare.

Blockchain Data & Storytelling

DataInByte is an onchain adoption intelligence system that measures how blockchain products actually grow — activation, retention and drop-off rather than vanity metrics. Dashboards on Dune, written work on Substack, and placements in analytics competitions run by Flipside Crypto, Token Metrics and Dune.
